Flying Scot 564 was brought to OCBC from Claremore Oklahoma. Gary and Colton Saunders resurrected this boat from the dead. It had a soft floor and had all of the original hardware as issued in 1964. Wooden cleats and small winches must have been the standard in the '60's.
We put all new running rigging and hardware throughout the entire boat. We have faired the centerboard, rebuilt the rudder and completely replaced the original floor. After untold hours of work, new sails and many learned lessons we have done fairly well competing in our local fleet with the oldest Flying Scot on Lake Hefner.
