The Applesauce Machine

While sailing in Dallas at the Open House Regatta, we had a great time of racing.  One of the funniest things I will remember is having my youngest son comment on the "applesauce" everyone was enjoying during the evening festivities.  It was his first time to see a margarita machine!

I think several of us enjoyed the "appleSAUCE!" It was a great regatta and it was really good to see 7 or 8 boats make it down!

The Applesauce story is TOO FUNNY! But I think I need to worry a bit also. Greta tells me that our 2 year old Molly was caught with the bear tap in hand during a regatta a few weeks later.

To OCBC FS Fleet 191:
Thank you all VERY much for coming down to Corinthian Sailing Club on White Rock Lake. It was an especially great Open House Regatta with the crew from OCBC, we wouldn't have had such a great turn out without you all! Please know that you all are welcome to come sail on any of our regular Sunday Club Races, help year-round at CSC. The first race warning signal is at 1:30pm on-the-water.

Greta and I would also like to have a winter event at OCBC to help break the winter duldrums. Also, we are looking at doing an on-the-water coaching weekend here at CSC on White Rock Lake. The format we are thinking about would have boats sign up for 1 hour time slots in which you would have a coach aboard to help fine tune boat handling and racing technique. The plan would culminate in having all those present participate in Sunday races with the CSC FS Fleet# 23. Our club racing here in Dallas usually has 18 to 25 boats on the line.

This website will be a great tool for promoting the Flying Scot Wife Husband and Southwest District Championship. There is not very many fleets that have an actual website, as well as at Fleet Class Flag. Keep up the good work!
